Hi everyone. I was just gonna share some info on a less toxic fuel for playin with. I owned a biodiesel company until @ 1 year ago and decided one day to try spinning poi with it. It works great although it does smell like french fries while you're playin'. It's much less toxic to be around, in fact I lick it off my fingers at workshops to show people how safe it is. Often times I mix it with a little coleman fuel for a brighter flame but it is still much less toxic than many fuel combos. For those of you that aren't familiar, biodiesel is diesel fuel made from vegetable oil...in my case recycled fryer grease from restaurants, NO PETROLEUM!!! Love and Light, David

SO how long is the burn compared with white gas and kero? And how much smoke does it produce?

It burns great, similar to kerosense although the stuff made from recycled fryer grease can be a little smokey and it creates a smell like french fries. Sometimes it smells like falafels which is nice :) I have found biodiesel made from uncooked soybean oil works better as it is less smokey and has no fast food smell. Soy biodiesel is also much easier to find. Peace
