Who posted the "Fire suspention" shot in the album? Can you tell me a little about what you used there? Is it a metal & chain rigging with wick woven through the chain? Also, what process did you use to fuel? Squirt bottle?

I have worked on one suspended flaming scupture before & am interested in doing more.

Thanks!

yes that was me That isnt a real good picture I had to do the tie fast and got sloppy.I used to use that to close out my show.It is an all rope tie not much diferent than Midori would use we just trimmed it up some for time reasons . I only had 10 min from start of tie to having her in the air and on fire.

as far as telling you the hows, of how it is done I dont feel I could do that in a responcable manner via internet. It is a classic Shibari suspention but if you look close at the picture
you will see every suspention rope has a quick release clip on it. if something were to go wrong i could have my model out of that rig in less than 2 seconds(yes we timed it )it was prob the most dangerous part of our show.and the most costly. I set it up for a very short burn time only about 45 seconds. We used "PURE" kevlar rope for the down ropes which costs about $2.50 a foot and that tie took about 80 feet the quick links are like $5 each I think there are 8 of thoose.

If you plan to try it in a show you will have to permit yourself as group 3 flame effects.Fire marshells arent real keen about a 10 ft x8 ft wall of fire with someone hanging under it.

Dont use a squirt bottle or you will have a model with fuel all over her.I even had to go as far as to alter my fuel so it was thicker and less prone to dripping.
