Here we will witness a performance representative of the unrelenting entropy to which man and machine alike are subject. Applying all of our collective strength to ropes that are thrown down to us, the inhabitants of Black Rock City will collapse this colossal structure in upon itself. Burning Man is HUGE and I’m sure I’m missing a lot of events. I’m a big spinning geek (obviously), but NO, I’m not planning to attend all of these things. This is just an easy reference. I will definitely be at the Wed night jam at Hookahdome, though, since I used to camp with them. All fire performers are welcome, so bring your favorite fire tool or seven, and march on down to be a part of one of the biggest fire jams since, well, last year in front of the Hookahdome (which was huge. Midnight 21-Gallon Salute to Nasu Dynami The Synapses sculpture project involved groups from 6 different cities, and involved many members of the fire spinning community. If we get enough people we will create a beautiful "Ring of Fire" along the esplanade all the way from 2:00 to 10:00. The signal to begin will be when the watch on your arm says 11:00pm. If you are like most people and don't wear a watch on the playa, look to 2:00 on the esplanade, and light up when those people do.
