Re: New Circus and Acrobatics School in Seattle
Wed, January 7, 2004 - 10:46 AMI'm excited to see this come up in Seattle, there are a couple of groups, Circus Contraption and UMO who teach realted arts, and the acrobatics class is out in suburbia mid week at 8pm :-p boo hiss.
I'd love to learn to stand on someones shoulders. Within the group I just left, I was the biggest female, by 30-50 lbs. and 4-6 inches, I was always a base. I'm not THAT big, (5'7", 150, w/muscles) but same size as most of the guys, if not bigger, one way or another. Tiny li'l things they all were, tiny, tiny, tiny.
SO, yeah. let the clowning begin. -

Wed, January 7, 2004 - 12:31 PMI'm really interested in learning basic tumbling.. I'm going to stop by a gymnastics school tomorrow and see if they're willing to teach "older" people. Why let the kids have all the fun?

You can stand on my shoulders, Qathi! I'm skinny but I'm wiry!
I actually have done a little partner-work, as base (on sk8s! ;)
